As part of its 13th Five-Year Plan, the Royal Government of Bhutan allocated Nu. 300 million through the Government of India-Project Tied Assistance (GoI-PTA) to enhance social impact across communities. These grants aim to support Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) in advancing Bhutan's social development initiatives.
On October 10th, the Civil Society Organization Authority (CSOA) hosted a grant signing ceremony to strengthen the partnership between the Government and CSOs. The event formalized awards to 16 CSOs, with contracts signed between CSOA and the recipient organizations in the presence of representatives from the Office of Cabinet Affairs and Strategic Coordination (OCASC).
Among the grant recipients is Chithuen Phendhey Association (CPA), which received Nu. 22.259 million for its project titled "The Comprehensive Reintegration and Intervention Program for Substance and Alcohol Use Disorders."
