We are pleased to announce that the staff of 
Center for Mind and Wellness  under the CPA has successfully completed a two-day (28th - 29th October 2025) professional development workshop on Helping Relationships, Skills, and Professional Conduct in Addiction Rehabilitation.
 
The workshop brought together 13 dedicated participants committed to strengthening their expertise in delivering compassionate, ethical, and evidence-based support in addiction rehabilitation and mental health services.
 
This intensive training focused on building core competencies essential for effective service deliveryโfrom establishing therapeutic relationships and applying best-practice counseling techniques to upholding professional standards and ethical conduct in clinical settings. Participants gained practical skills directly applicable to real-world challenges in addiction care.
 
Special recognition goes to our distinguished resource persons, Mr. Nidup Jamtsho and Ms. Tenzin Wangmo, Associate Lecturers, FNPH, KGUMSB. Their insightful guidance, dedication, and professional wisdom deeply enriched the learning experience, equipping our team with enhanced competencies to deliver high-quality, client-centered care.
